Meet Allie

Hello! Je m’appelle Alie (my name is Alie!) I am from Santa Cruz, CA and am thrilled to be part of the Cannes 2017 adventure with Funny How Films. Working in Events and Marketing during the day and acting in stage theater at night, coming to the largest Film Festival in the world seems like the perfect pairing of my two professions. I have been super stoked on seeing how the press events, tent mixers, pavilion booths and red carpet areas are so well planned and executed— an event planners dream! I am looking forward to working hard and love that I can spend my days talking to people from all aspects of the film industry. In one circle of conversation, you can meet a Director, Producer, Agent, Actor and Best Boy all sharing the wonder that is Cannes against the backdrop of the breathtaking French Riviera. So beautiful!
