Closing Time

The Marche’s last day and the vibe has changed from Day 1. A feeling of accomplishment is peppered throughout the booths. It is incredible to see how the week has progressed and knowing that so many great films have been bought and sold. As the booths start getting packed up, it makes me realize the magnitude of the major film festivals to filmmakers. The Cannes Film Festival Marche is a well-oiled machine with millions of dollars of business at stake each day. My time at the Marche has been so educational and I feel like I have an insight on the business that I was unaware of before.
